Dental Practice Owner Suspended in Quebec for Inappropriate Behaviour

A dental practice owner is back in Inuvik after being temporarily suspended from practising in Quebec, CBC recently reported.

Viktor Dorokhine pleaded guilty to allegations of making inappropriate sexual and racial comments to dental students at a conference in Montreal in January 2023. His suspension prohibits him from performing dentistry in the province of Quebec for three months and includes a fine of $10,000.

Dorokhine is planning to re-open his clinic in Inuvik but will not be working as a dentist.
